We are Alex & Miriam, two travelers that try to discover as much from this world as possible and who consider that traveling is too fascinating to ever get tired of.

We started this blog as a collection of our memories when we decided to travel around the world. But the wish to travel brough us to many places long before we packed our backpacks.  More than 6 years ago we met the ocean and spent most of this time traveling from port to port while working on board different cruise ships.

We believe that the ocean has many stories to tell, many of which are better understood by those who sailed across it. But we knew that there were many more stories out there in the world. So we said goodbye to the ocean and said hello to mountains, hills and roads. We packed smaller luggage than we were used to and went to discover the world.

We are sharing our stories of the time when we were on board and the ones from backpacking around the world. It is not a blog about how to quit your jobs and sell everything to travel the world. We will also not tell you how to travel for free (and you should not take anyone seriously who tells you that) or about starting the “perfect” travel blog. But we can tell you how to travel longer and how to enrich your travel experience.
